Terms of Service
There is a minimum of 5 days notice for any order request. Orders are taken on a first come first served basis. As such, your date is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing with an invoice. A deposit is required to secure a date. Once you have decided to go ahead with your bespoke order, you must pay a non-refundable deposit to secure your date and booking (amount will depend on the requirements for your order). An invoice will be sent to you for you to pay this deposit. The date will be held for 48 hours to give you time to make the payment. Once this payment is received, your order is booked in. The balance is due in full before collection. If you have requested a delivery service, the cost of this will be included in the final, agreed price, if this service is available for your date.
Changes to your booking
If there are any changes to the original booking, the person responsible for the booking must get in touch as soon as possible by email. I will try and accommodate changes to dates and design the best I can, but this is subject to availability only.
Extreme weather condition, sickness or delays on the day
In the unfortunate event of bad weather or sickness, compensation will not be offered where events are postponed or cancelled. Please contact me to discuss the best way to store your cake.
If there are any unforeseen delays which are our of our control, such as severe weather conditions or unexpected traffic congestion, compensation will not be offered if we exceed our allocated time for deliveries (which will have been arranged at the booking stage).
Health and Safety
I ensure that all health and safety precautions are strictly adhered to. Please see the FAQ'S for more information on dietary requirements. As stated here, although all measures are taken to stop cross contamination, cakes are made in the same enviroment where gluten, dairy and eggs are used. As such, Pri Made Cakes cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions that might occur. If necessary, please seek legal advice.
Personal Circumstances
In the unlikely event that an order needs to be cancelled due to situations from my side, a full refund of any monies paid will be given. I will give as much notice as possible and recommend another local cake maker, providing contact details.
Storage
To keep your cake in perfect condition, it must be stored in the fridge. Once cut, it is recommended that you store the reamining cake at room temperature in an air tight container. Before eating, please allow your cake to return to room temperature.
Please consume your cake within 5 days from collection/delivery.
