A little about me

Hi, I'm Pri, the face behind Pri Made Cakes. I'm a mother of two and wife to a very supportive husband!

My business started out as a humble venture to delight family and friends with homemade treats. What began as a simple hobby soon blossomed into something more.

Starting a small business is extremely daunting - for anyone -  but particularly with two very young children, with plenty of pros and cons to weigh up. As such, I decided to continue teaching whilst launching the business back in 2018. As my passion for baking became too irresistible to ignore, I decided to take a leap of faith in 2021, and handed in my notice to the Head. Unfortunately, fate was not on my side, and shortly after doing so, the world was hit with a pandemic. Luckily for me, I was able to secure a part-time teaching job to keep me out of trouble! All the while, I continued to bake for family and friends, doing door-step deliveries to continue to make tummies smile.

Thankfully, the world quickly recovered, so in 2023 Pri Made Cakes became my full-time job! I have since poured my heart and soul into every cake, cupcake and sweet treat I create, infusing each bake with a sprinkle of magic and joy.

As a small business, I take pride in serving my local community of Wixams and beyond, into Bedfordshire, with homemade goodness that warms the heart and satisfies the soul. From special occasions to everyday cravings, my creations are more than just desserts to me —they are moments of shared happiness and cherished memories. I am thrilled to be able to call myself an entrepreneur, and excited to see how far I I can take my dream in the years to come.
